Oral presentations guidelines

Duration

A total of 25 minutes is allocated for each oral presentation.

  • 20 minutes for the presentation.
  •  5 minutes for questions and discussion.

Schedule

Presenters will be placed in time slots as published on the conference website. Please check the website for your scheduled time and session. 

Chair

Each session will have a chairperson who will introduce presenters and moderate the discussion. 

Make sure your presentation fits in the allocated time slot (20 minutes) so as not to overstep the schedule. In case of overstepping the chairperson will have to interrupt your presentation.

Languages

Authors should present in the language they selected for their abstract submission. The slides can be written in the language of the presentation or another language of the conference (English, French, German, Italian). Discussions can take place in the four languages of the conference.

Technical Setup/Test (in your presentation room):

During the following time slots, a member of the organizing committee will be available as a technical support to test the presentation: 

Session 1: Friday, 9.10 a.m.-9.30 a.m.

Session 2/3: Friday, 1.30 p.m. – 2.p.m.

Session 4: Saturday, 9.45 a.m. – 10.15 a.m.

Equipment: Bring your own laptop, a backup copy, adaptor and laser pointer if required. Make sure you have a backup copy accessible via email or cloud storage.
