Oral presentations guidelines

A total of 25 minutes is allocated for each oral presentation.

  • 20 minutes for the presentation.
  •  5 minutes for questions and discussion.

Presenters will be placed in time slots as published on the conference website. Please check the website for your scheduled time and session.

Each session will have a chairperson who will introduce presenters and moderate the discussion.

Make sure your presentation fits in the allocated time slot (20 minutes) so as not to overstep the schedule. In case of overstepping the chairperson will have to interrupt your presentation.

Authors should present in the language they selected for their abstract submission. The slides can be written in the language of the presentation or another language of the conference (English, French, German, Italian). Discussions can take place in the four languages of the conference.

Technical Setup

  • Arrival: Please arrive at your designated room at least 25 minutes before the end of the last break before your presentation session to test your slides (e.g. if you present on Friday at 11h45 – come to test it during the welcome coffee since project presentations will start directly after the keynote). Further information will be provided on technical assistance. However, if you need technical assistance, please contact someone from the conference staff.
  • Equipment: Bring your own laptop, adaptor and laser pointer if required. Make sure you have a backup copy accessible via email or cloud storage.
